Colon Cleanse Recipe

The idea of detoxifying the body in an attempt to get rid of unhealthy toxins has been a hot topic for centuries. Critics say fasting is the best way to improve health, and several religious groups have used fasting in the past as a way of purifying the spirit.

Colon

In health food stores and supplement stores like GNC and Vitamin Shoppe, you will find detox diets that guarantee to help with weight loss, boost energy levels and improve many more physical attributes.

Some detox diets out there may be dangerous, diets who limit the caloric intake to very low amounts can bring negative effects to its users because it doesn’t give the body the nutrients that it needs.

Detox: How it Works

There are three critical organs involved in detox methods:
1) Liver – This is the first line of defense acting as a filter for bad contaminants.
2) Colon – Releases both good and bad chemicals for the intent of flushing out anything harmful to the body.
3) Kidneys – Kidneys are constantly filtering the blood to protect the body all around the clock.

In order for a Colon Cleanse recipe to truly work, you must maintain these three key organs by filling up your body with the right nutrients. Dr. Oz’s 48-Hour Weekend Cleanse is based upon detoxifying certain foods that will keep these systems running smoothly. The plan couldn’t be easier to follow so you’re not always focused on what to eat next and the effects.

Before After Cleanse

Colon cleansing can help push waste easily through the body system to prevent constipation. If waste stays in the system too long, it becomes a feeding ground for bacteria. Removing wastes can also remove toxins and give an energy boost.

It is hard to find enough energy to make it through the day with busy schedules. This is the perfect way to solve it. With increased energy, comes increased concentration. Increases absorption of nutrients when not a lot of vitamins are taken in.

Other Detox Cleanses to Consider

In addition to eating healthier, there are some other life choices that need to be followed. It is important to not eat after 7:00 PM as the body can not fully digest the food items and it will be hard to sleep. Next is to take an Epsom salt bath.

This type of bath will help to sweat out any toxins and help the user relax. Finally, it is recommended to drink some tea to help the liver work its filter magic when it comes to toxins. Berries are always a good snack food that helps out the liver.
